Around the house

Today we have just been hanging out. The kids have played in the water in the backyard, and in the garage, which brought them running into the house yelling, we can't stop the water!!! They had the faucet in the garage on full blast, and couldn't turn it off. Oh well, what do ya do? nothing a little of this hot sun can't dry out. They are now dressed up and playing with figurines... of course Ninja turtles are the big hit. Kael always has at least 2 or 3 in his hand.

The Princess

Reese is growing way to fast. and she is starting to scale everything and climb stairs when no one is looking and sometimes she sneaks into the pantry, which currently has no door because we are switching the swing of it... and she finds treats, yes that is about 20 pieces of half eaten taffy. I have cleaned up more than one mess here. She is a holy terror, the minute her knees hit the ground.

Yard Fun

The kids don't exactly have grass yet. So they play in the dirt and on the patio with the hose a lot. The other day Kael got stuck on top of the hill on the lot right behind our house and we sent porter to get him. It was just a test, but he actually succeeded. We were really impressed since Porter weights 38 lbs. and kael is 31. But he would do anything for his little brother. They are so funny.

Fake Birthday

So I told porter to go wake up kael from his nap, and he said he wouldn't wake up. So I just told him to keep trying. Then he comes out and tells me that he 'tricked him something'... that it was his birthday. I told him that wasn't very nice cause Kael would be sad when he realized it wasn't. Then Porter said, 'Mom, do you think you could wrap up a few presents?' He proceeded to wrap old toys in newspaper and the rest of the evening was celebrating Kaels unbirthday, thanks to porter. Including a pinata. We do pinatas on birthdays at our house. So as Porter was wrapping up his big T-Rex figurine in newspaper, it reminded him of his 3 ft tall and 3 foot long T-Rex pinata at his 2nd b-day (my first homemade attempt, warning to all, they grow.). So they put that on the ground and hit it with their swords as the party pinata. But it was fun. We should all have an unbirthday every now and then.
